Throughout the pandemic Boyd Parker pivoted his business model to maintain service of his clients campaigns. The serial entrepreneur contends if a firm’s staff and contractors adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, and start being more proactive rather than being told what to do, it will be a catalyst for rapid growth.
“One of the greatest advantages of being an entrepreneur is the autonomy it brings, and the ability to control career progression. Entrepreneurs are the masters of their destiny; they don’t have to wait for an opportunity, they create their own,” said Mr. Parker. The business owners’ companies have cultivated a culture of entrepreneurship, encouraging staff and contractors to set goals and be aggressive about achieving them. “Goal setting is an essential element in any entrepreneur’s success. Too many people underestimate the value of goal setting and the important role it plays in someone’s development,” said Mr. Parker.
“Thinking like an employee puts limitations on someone’s goals. There is a glass ceiling for employees, however for entrepreneurs – the sky’s the limit, and adopting an entrepreneurial mindset will push someone to dream big and set goals,” said Mr. Parker.
As a supporter of entrepreneurship, Mr Parker encourages entrepreneurial thinking. They believe that people need to take responsibility for their career and seek out opportunities to develop. The serial business owner inspires entrepreneurial thinking by hosting regular motivational and educational workshops and seminars.
“Your future is in your hands. You have the power to control your destiny. Set goals, take action and make it happen,” said Boyd Parker.
